Bringing in two guards from other programs and expecting them to start and be stars right of the bat might be difficult. Moore and Starling would need to play well right away to get some wins in Hawaii.

Big changes would include greater consistency from Williams in defense, scoring and rebounding.  We would need better shooting from 3pt range from both Starling and Mintz. The team defense would need to gel in a whole new system, while they're getting used to playing together.

Minor, incremental improvements would be Edwards moving just one notch higher in his game, so even his bad games look good in the end. Improved ball security from Mintz and Starling. Brown, Hima, Taylor, Copeland and Bell would need to play well in their limited minutes.

Another concern is Williams and Brown coming back in the fall muscular enough to allow the three guards lineup to work.
