FLN asked our Orange connections and found out that Cole was targeted late in the process based on a recommendation from local Syracuse lacrosse alumni!

Kinda speaks to your thoughts on JD's willingness to recruit these days. No knock on the kid at all, if Casey Powell thinks he can play, good enough for me. Just adding he wasn't dug out by our coaches looking to fill a hole. Perhaps alumni recommendations are good enough, satisfy the ego of our alums who wants a say, and get us the talent we need to compete? I have no idea.

this kid is very athletic and has a sick left. Good pick up. Likely the biggest sleeper in the Class of 2016.

Obviously can't tell everything from the video, but looks like he could be a Kevin Drew type player, seems to carry the ball well and has some speed. If he can't develop a right hand, he could be instrumental on the wings and clearing.

yes he hasnt played in a game yet but he just moved this week due to him having to be in Florida for graduation sources tell me.
