High school boys and girls in the Class of 2016 submitted a host of amazing videos to earn one of 10 spots to this year’s version of Nike’s The Ride showcase, July 20-22 at their headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. Invitations have gone out for this elite, exclusive 100-player recruiting showcase that gives the country’s best players the chance to train, test and work with top coaches and products at Nike HQ. But in addition to those invitations, Nike wanted to give players the chance to submit video highlights for one of these 10 spots, chosen by Inside Lacrosse and Nike. In all, more than 4,000 votes were cast for the nearly 150 players that submitted videos from all over the country.
