New Cuse Chancellor is a Sports Fan

But...but...he's a Georgetown grad.

Tough sell here.

who cares about being a georgetown grad because i know a former cuse football player that took classes at georgetown last year... that would be awesome to have baseball back since most acc teams have baseball even if they promoted the club team to a d1 team..

Georgetown? I don't know. Are we sure this guy is who he says he is?

Which is why he left Georgetown and went to Michigan.

Orientation time.

Let's get him to a football tailgate, feed him hoffman's and beer and see how he gets along with the Cuse faithful.

Last two Chancellor's were big sports fans too.

SU needs to forget about baseball right now. Hopefully this guy is willing to step in and make sure the current sports are getting everything they need to be competitive in the ACC first. SU needs to upgrade some facilities (locker rooms, training room, etc) for the Olympic sports and make sure the support staff/coaching salaries for football is up to par for a BCS program.

and thankfully Nancy was able to invest in the football program.

Shaw may have claimed to be a big sports fan, but his actions/lack of action said otherwise. We are still digging out of the period of neglect that happened under his watch.

That was my point.

Scary. I hope he didn't really get through the interview process without more information than that. I'm assuming he didn't.

Yes he already questioned what is taking Gtown so long according to this tweet.

David Walker, currently RB coach for the Indianapolis Colts, is also from Irondequoit. They might know each other.

Looks like he went to school with George Tenet (Foreign Service grad from 1976)

Always remember... a man without vision has no vision at all.
