If Babers thought he would be a value you can damn well bet that Babers won't care about the fans sentiment and will bring the young man in.
Now I am purely talking about the stogie thing.   If you want to bring up words he was quoted as saying that may be different depending on what was said.   I don't hang on every word a coach says so I can't speak to that but honestly who gives a  about him chewing a stogie that day?  Big deal...just my opinion.
