We don' t for the most part recruit top 10 kids.
For the most part we prosper with kids ranked 50-150 and many stay four years. Most of our kids are not so highly rated that they will be offered the $125K. Schools like Duke, Kentucky. UNC maybe Michigan State etc are the ones who will be hurt by this. College basketball is a zero sum game. What;s bad for UNC and Duke is good for us.
Look at this year's recruiting class and recruits, Stewart would be the only kid highly rated enough to get a contract. But that is nowhere near the case for Duke UNC etc,
Today's development will change college basketball forever. It will become less an NBA farm system and more what it once used to be.
And, on a net basis we will have a competitive advantage over our tougher competitors
