I loved Raftery's line about JB being the professor who would give an assignment for spring break or a long weekend. Or the one about Juli making Mickey Mouse smile but JB couldn't. You can tell that there is a freedom with some to make comments like these because of the true person that JB is. We will miss this guy.

In the interview, I'm glad he referenced the 2010 team. IMHO (and perhaps in his), that team was the best SU team ever. Better than 2003. And again IMO would have won it all if not for Arinze's injury in the BET. Last year's team was very good and had an excellent chance of advancing to the Final Four and contending. 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2013 are an outstanding group of teams. And yet, only two made the Final Four due to some bad luck (and perhaps one player's lack of judgement.) That's quite a run.
