If you want to see replies (if any) to a post, click the "replies" link at the bottom of a post. It's next to the "report" link.

And if you want to see the post that has been quoted in a reply, click the little blue arrow at the top of the post next to "said:"

I've pleaded for a threaded view option, with no luck. It's much easier to follow a thread. Maybe some day.
