New offer to kicker?

I'd say Ryan Norton from Long Island. I do not know if it is him or not, but several schools are interested in him and his big powerful leg from what I have heard.

If him, is his leg strong enough to get us touchbacks/put the ball in the endzone on kickoffs?

I'd say yes on that based of this lil clip from G-Tech's site.

Norton is coveted by college coaches across the country due to his exceptional leg strength. His dad tells GoJackets.com that he sent 47 of his kickoffs into the end zone for touchbacks this season, while also converting a long field goal of 49 yards.

Is he a '12 or a '13?

So if '12? Does the little Euro Country go back to walk-on? Isn't Raupers a walk-on?

He is '12. He is also a punter, so that could be a reason for going after him, if in fact it is he who was offered, again, I have no idea.

That's a big leg. Does college kick from the 40 too? I never remember.

probably the kid one of our posters has talked about for a couple months. a kickoff specialist that would be in this class.

sounds like a plan, any idea if he is interested...i mean how can we not have a great kicker in the Dome...we play in a freakin Dome...cmon nowwww

how 70%

Probably a tad too literal, Bees. A kickoff specialist who can reach the goal line and a punter who can, well...punt, would make a big difference in the coverage and field position game.

If true, I really like this move, even with kids already on scholly at those positions. Now, lets get a ST coach and put our best players on punt/FG block teams.
