Esteemed patrons of the syracusefan.com web site:

We have been supporting the ability to embed links from Youtube videos for some time now. There are many other web site that host videos however and some of you have requested that we expand the support for embedding video links to these other sites. We listened and acted, and effective today, you can embed media from a number of other sites.

Here is the new list:
Enjoy!

Fan. Tastic!
Thanks, Tom, temery, all you guys and girls. Vine was a wish list for some and that's awesome.

You sure you want JarHead Jim to have the ability to post from CollegeHumor. This is going to be fun.

Yeah, I think all of us wondered just how far Jim was going to be able to push the barriers now. Should make for interesting but short lived threads.

I like the Vine addition. Vine has all sorts of hilarious hijinks. I'll be uncontrollable now!

I am interested in what happens first, a link to the Russian TV site or NPR.

We have people here who could find ways to use either one. And no, this should not be construed as a challenge.

I've asked this in a couple of threads but haven't gotten a response. I use IE for windows 7, and none of the imbedded content is showing up since this change was implemented. A few posters have suggested that we check java to see what is being filtered--but does anyone know how to do that? Or to at least point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Oh, that's simple. You've got the wrong browser, my friend. Firefox or Chrome. You will never go back. Now keep with the times! :)

I only use Chrome on my personal devices, but don't have admin rights to my machine at my client site, so I'm stuck with IE.

Tell those client deadbeats to get off their lazy arses and download a new browser! That is, if you have such a fun rapport with them.

I'm just seeing a bunch of numbers and no link.

Strange enough you can just click on the number and it will show up.

Magic. It wasn't working. Now it is.
