[QUOTE="SWC75, post: 2773487, member: 289"] I will again be doing a report after each game this season and a summary report at the end of the non-conference season, the ACC season and the post season. Net Points (points + rebounds + assists + steals + blocks minus missed field goals and free throws, turnovers and personal fouls) Season net points and average per 40 minutes is in parenthesis. Breakdown by Quarters (Points scored between the beginning of the game and the 10 minute mark of the first half, then halftime, then the 10 minute mark of the second half, the end of regulation and then overtime of there was one) 25-11, 11-19, 25-16, 23-24 Fouls (Two point shots and free throws attempted per times fouled.) We attempted 53 two point shots, attempted 30 free throws and were fouled 24 times = 2.21; 1.25 They attempted 46 two point shots, attempted 12 free throws and were fouled 18 times = 2.56; 0.67 We were more likely to get calls when attempting two point shots and we got more free throws out of it when we were fouled. Comments - We went from 33 points off takeaways to 14 because we couldn’t press this team- their guards were too good per JB. As a result we went from 10 fast break points to 2. - We won it from the foul line, making 25 of 30, (after a 15 for 28 performance in EW games) vs. 7/12 for Morehead. - Morehead got through our defense to hit 46% of their two point shots after EW had made only 29%. - We are supposed to be a better shooting team this year but so far we’re behind in POP 28-47 after 2 games. - We are 69-74 in FCP, (our initial half court sets) in two games against inferior teams.
