Me: This is so messy, so significant of a case that it is being handled and reported so poorly. I am beginning to wonder if the legal process has evaporated and that its the media that calls the shots and next steps. Time for a breath! So according to Whitlock, Tomaselli spoke with Davis several times before contacting police etc...why? The conversation tape has been around since 2002, why didnt either the PS or Post Standard use the tape or give it to police authorities prior to a few days ago? Why didn't Davis give the tape to Syracuse University? Why didn't Fine's wife dispute the tape more rigorously in '05..and if it did come up in Syracuse U. investigation, why didnt the University get the tape from Davis? For Pete's sake, [B]is Davis, Mrs. Fine, ESPN, and The Post Standard--all complicit in any other molestation that happened after 2003? [/B] What is evident, but obviously not proven as factual evidence, is that a number of individuals/orgainizations had information to look into Bernie's supposed molestation---[B]yet none did[/B]. Now we want to possibly blame JB who was told nothing found after a 4 month investigation that came after a previous police investigation...yup, justice is being served on a platter that is full of holes and cracked...heads will roll because truth in this case is so bizzare and not proven as yet...that it seems guilty before proven innocent is now the new standard.
