Besides wins and losses, the single most significant thing that TGD and HCDM have accomplished with the FB program is to carve out an identity for SU as New York's team. Granted, we are still in the early stages of evolving that brand identity, and that's what concerns me. Should HCDM leave at this time, we will be hard pressed to bring in another guy who would be such a natural fit for recruiting downstate, and I think that has to be a top priority. Can't give back the ground we've gained on that front in the last four years, and must continue to build on it to be successful.
