I hope Boeheim treats this more as an official game as far as defense ... the substitutions are one thing, those are expected, but I'd like to see almost entirely 2-3

It's about getting the guys to move their feet and taking some ownership for their own defense. MtM will do that. You can get to defending like a team down the road.

Sounds like our guards will have their hands full. the other guard has a pretty good resume: Also back in the mix is junior guard Andre Pope who tossed in 12.9 points on a regular basis and led the NE-10 with a 45.4 shooting percentage (69-for-152) from 3-point territory.

I am sure they have been practicing the zone this week ... we saw M2M in first "practice" exhibition and I think we will see Zone in 2nd "practice" exhibition. It will be interesting to see the freshman in the zone and how they adapt to that.

This is still a D2 team. If they play with some effort, it should not really make a difference which defense we play. Remember that these players could not play for DePaul or Rutgers, or even Fordham. Play with energy and we win going away.
