Nice fight at the Met

The live commentary is actually pretty funny.

Seriously though, sports fights are ridiculous. Seems about right though for an NFL stadium.

Think it's the other way around. Guy in Orange and the big guy were both pummeling the guy wearing the ND white jersey and the guy in blue. Guy in blue gets free and clocks the big guy. That guy clocked two people. He hits someone before the brawl started, but can't see who it is.

you know, looking at it more, I think the guy who started it punched a lady in green. You can see her scramble out then hold her face. But it looks like he has a ND shirt on from the beginning of the video.

Looking back through the video, it appears that Notre Dame fans are fighting amongst themselves. When the security guard starts going down, the Carmelo Jersey guy sees orange moving down and decides to jump into the frey.

Here's the guy that throws the haymaker and it appears he's wearing a Notre Dame shirt.

Bandwagon Notre Dame fans just can't seem to get along with each other.

Actually I think it's a Syracuse fan that eats the right hook. He's got Melo as his wingman looks like.

Not to mention the puncher is a short pasty redhead. I saw a million in the parking lot before the game and they were all ND fans/bandwagoners.

I think the guy that takes the hit is wearing a "Play Like a Champion Today" shirt, I just can't get a clear shot to post when I pause the video. Clearly he didn't take his shirts advice.

Okay, so what I think happened is that the guy who threw the punch (who clearly has a ND shirt on) started it by punching a woman and when that happened both SU and ND fans came to her rescue.

this nonsense is the only reason to dislike being in the first row of the upperdeck.

some dipsh1t a few rows behind us screamed about mike williams dropping a pass even though he already had 200 yards that game (i forget which game but i remember that much)

i get fed up and stand up, turn around, and just before laying into him, that image of those guys tumbling down pops in my head. one shove and i'm dead so i turn back around and sit down, i've felt like a wuss ever since.

I thought the guy who took the right hook was wearing an ND shirt. But you're right, Cuse jersey was definitely wailing on the black shirt guy.

Maybe the fight transcended team loyalty and was a heartwarming tale of one group of drunk idiots beating on another.

SU has a backwards hat guy and guy who goes out in public without sleeves guy. lets assume they're the heros of this story. backwards hat guys and tank top guys don't give a . all the people who don't want to go to real jobs with a black eye are the ones saying "whoa whoa behave settle down" and going home thinking to themselves "i could've totally taken that ahole if i weren't worried about that meeting on monday"

the ND knockout puncher guy is the villian who unfortunately knows what he's doing in a fight

Last time I was at the met was the USC game there were three obnoxious USC fans and 2 SU guys that came as close to getting into a brawl as I have ever seen. The one Cuse fan was a brick shithouse. I said to USC guys, if you knew what was good for you, you would tone it down or find somewhere else to sit, this guys would have destroyed all 3 and was a ticking time bomb. I wasn't advocating any of it but informed them to be smart and walk away. I didn't want it around my kids or my buddies. They left and 2 Cuse fans apologized to myself, my kids and my buddy, absolutely no need for any of it. Sad really. Agree save that BS for Sundays

The Fighting Irish fans clearly take their nickname too literally. Imagine if it were the Farting Irish.

I haven't been in a fight like that since I was around 9 years old.

The Fighting Irish. Someone got a nickname right.

the view of the upper deck from that video seems to indicate a 75%/25% crowd split in favor of ND.
