Overcame adversity (McC injury, Christmas foul trouble, Christmas having an "off" shooting night) and convincingly put away a decent team. KJo developing leadership, setting guys up while cutting down on turnovers. Cooney shooting well. Zone defense cutting off those passes from the top of the key to the baseline that crippled us early. Don't look now but we're improving.

Need to figure out the severity of and how we handle Chris' injury of course. Wish him speedy recovery and am actually optimistic that guys will step up. Team's playing hard.

The biggest positive for me tonight was joseph. He looks more comfortable and is establishing his most effective role. His shot isn't ready this year. Don't do anything crazy and just manage the possession and get to the hole when the opportunity presents itself.

Agree mostly about Joseph, but he can't keep passing up wide open looks - he's already shown he can knock those down, just has to be ready/willing to take them again

Slightly concerning for me: Cooney goes for 28, FSU can't throw the ball in the ocean, yet it wasn't quite a blowout.

Given the mid-game injury, I'm certainly not complaining. But we aren't gonna shoot 9/16 from 3 most nights -- and the opposition won't go 1 for whatever they went.

Outside of Cooney and CMac (1-2) nobody on the team shot over 40%. Rarity for Rak, We didn't shoot well..except for TC.

Rak's offense was being contested by a lot of size. I'm pretty sure FSU is the biggest team in the ACC.

Yeah, not a lot of teams will send three seven footers out there. They had varying degrees of skill, but tall was a skill they had. 7'-3" with long arms is tough to shoot over and nothing our guys face in practice. Our tallest guys is Chris McCullough, and he has long arms, but this guy was another 5" taller and his reach is probably another 2" more than that. Big difference.

The McC injury will hurt because he was our 3rd best shooter, maybe second. Now we have no one to make a shot other than TC or G.
