Agreed. My sister became the wife of an excellent running back in high school, her high school sweetheart, who got a full ride to Delaware. He graduated with and began his coaching career as HC at Mountain Lakes HS in NJ – didn’t lose a game there in two years, was hired to become HC at Central Dauphin HS in Harrisburg, PA. It is exhausting work, and you never seem to have time for yourself, your wife or kids, let alone golf. You are always coaching or recruiting.

And with regards to Nixon and Campanile I don’t believe they are going anywhere after their first successful season at Syracuse. UMass is not the school for either - they deserve better than that – Temple maybe, but not this coming season no matter what their wives say.
