really not a surprise, would not be surprised if we quietly didnt even ask for fans for the georgia tech game given going to be tight in completing renovations, a soft open vs duke (family and students? if they follow protocols) followed by limited capacity for last 5 would seem best case

They can easily limit capacity in there. They need to open this up sooner rather than later.

Pathetic decision by the university. We might go winless in the ACC. Even just 5k fans would make a huge difference. I think totally empty stands played a part in UNC going cold on offense from the openign drive to the 4th quarter.

Not sure if this has already been posted but received email from SU saying no fans for at least GT
game. Was holding out hope but figured it would happen when there were no fans at Bills game on
Sunday. I have not missed a home game since the Dome was built in 1980 and this is going to be tough
to have the game happen and not be able to attend. May have to revert back to our old ways growing up
in the university area as kids and sneaking to old Archibald...the Dome may present more of a challenge!
Just bummed.

It’s a nooner and the leaves are starting to fall. We’ve seen the dome around this time. It leaves plenty of opportunity to social distance.
