No more Bracket Busters

I can't see why two conferences can't set it up amongst themselves (without TV). Set aside a few days in midweek during February -- determine home sights and base matchups based on RPI rankings on January 30.

"Given the evolving college landscape, we felt the event in its present form has run its course. We'll continue to work with our conference partners to develop new, creative events to further grow the sport."

Holy Crap! ESPN knows that we're going 4x16 and breaking away from the NCAA!

Did anyone tell UConn this?

This event ended up working against a lot of the mid-majors in terms of getting bids. These games turned into virtual play-in games for some of the better matchups. As long as some of these mids can come up with something else to get the exposure late in the season, it should be no big loss.
