Some late night random thoughts on the day.
I love college football.
Bought a brand new big screen for this season. Been watching today since noon. Leaf raking and other household chores can wait for another day.
Hate that we lost today. Hate that we aren't elite. Remember as a freshman in '87 when we broke into the Top 20 (pre-Top 25) how it was the first time we'd been ranked since sometime in the 70's (early 70's?). Feel like we're in that type of purgatory now.
Hard to fathom how we racked up 600 yards and just 20 points today. Utter frustration. Took a while to get back into the games this afternoon. Feel bad for the Maryland kid taken out on a stretcher. Gruesome injury.
Great win by Indiana today. Michigan is bad right now. We might beat them in the Dome. Of course, we'd play them in Jersey, so who knows. Glad Florida State won, I guess. Jimbo seems like a good guy. Visited Whigham, if I remember.
Love the late night games from the west coast. Cal up 31-13 on Arizona in the 3rd. (Sounds familiar) RichRod has to be in the hot seat. And Oregon in a dog fight at Wazzu. See what happens when you get a big dog at home.
Wish we had the Irish in the Dome. But heck, Gerg beat them in South Bend. Time to beat them again.
It's going to be a long week til next Saturday at 8:00 pm.
