Put Ollie and UConn in there instead of Hopkins and Syracuse and that's how I feel except replace the red part with NBA coaches (Larry Brown, Jim O'brien, George Karl, Paul Silas, and Scott Brooks being notable) and a hall of fame college coach.  
 
Again, he may need a George Blaney type assistant (Hobbs, Leito, Miller would all fit the bill) to get used to the ins and outs of [U]college[/U] coaching but in terms of player development, recruiting, game prep and alumni/AD/President relations, I feel he would be fantastic.  Others disagree, which is fine because there is no way of proving it either way at this point.
 
But honestly the most important thing  is that the Jims sign off on their respective replacements.  
 
This is kind of putting the cart before the horse for UConn, unlike Syracuse, UConn has not named him the coach in waiting.  It is just the current rumour mill and speculation (though it has been gaining some steam).
