True story - first time I heard of the "domesticated" Hummer was sitting next to a guy on an airplane who asked me if I had ever heard of a "hummer" and then showed me his wristwatch with "Hummer" on the face of it. I looked at him wondering if this was a gay pick-up and how I was going to get thru the flight with him hitting on me, and then he said, "it's like a Jeep" and showed me a picture of one of the first ones. And then I realized, and said "Oh, I thought that's what they called them in the Army" and he said "they're selling them now, I've got a picture ..." Relief.
