Terrible in its own right, but doesn't even come close to PedSt. Worlds different. Wonder why one of the male athletes didn't just beat the out of the guy? These were 18-22 year old athletes. Not innocent 10 year old boys.
As to the writers question as to why they would have rehired him after previous complaints? I can probably answer that.
Most likely he had something on someone in power that made the rehire happen. In other words, someone else was doing the same or similar thing.
