Obviously we all want SU to be #1 all the time, but I’m just putting this out there: i’m almost thankful we don’t have an elite team right now considering the lack of fans and the weirdness caused by COVID.
No one wants to be below expectations, but if it’s going to happen, it may as well happen in a season with no fans.
Like Dayton and SDSU had elite teams last season, but the COVID interruption pretty much wasted all that set up and planning.
Am I being dumb? I might very well be.
