You catch the ball or make sure it hits the ground. You don't hit it up in the air with absolutely no idea of where its going. Just one of the gaffs in that game last week. I think Marcus was watching too many bikini beach volley ball games during the Olympics. I know I was.

I...don't think he intentionally hit the ball up in the air.

Amazing Sales got a hand on that poorly thrown ball. Shows his athleticism. Just a freak thing that he tapped it up like that.

Also an under-ratedly athletic play by the LB because he caught the ball and was simultaneously hurdling the other two players. It was unlucky for us that he didn't just trip over Sales and the DB and instead went for 40 yards the other way.

Terribly thrown ball. That play wasn't on sales in the slightest

Absolutely! I was up in the third deck with a drunken JoeCollege and even we could see that Nassib put that ball behind him and at his knees. Sales did well to even get his hands on the ball.

Yeah, well he SAW it on television. Can't get more proof than that.

Yea, Carli..... He purposely hit it to the NW player...

I wouldn't go that far. The pass was thrown just below his knees, not at his shoe-tops. People catch passes like that many times each week at every level of the game.

I don't like the throw, I don't like what Sales did, and I hated the result.
But what I do like is how the players handled it in the post-game interviews.

Sales did not throw Nassib under the bus, and he gave credit to the defense on the play.
Better yet, Nassib took responsibility for the blunder, stating that he cannot put the ball out there like that.
He realizes that he cannot keep throwing balls in dangerous spots that will either get the receiver injured or the ball picked off.

Two things . My name isn't "Carli" and I never suggested or thought it was on purpose. Its a poor way to go after a low pass that two hand punch up is not one of the right ways.:crazy:

Two hand punch? Come on Carli.

Two hand punch? Come on Carli.
OK not so much a punch but a lift I suppose "Carli" is now a sign of ignorance. He doesn't like it so we will continue the sophomoric type of annoyance.:blah:

Easy, there.

Cali is a board treasure.

I have been here and the other sites for some time. Sometimes his attacks on the student athletes gets old. Unfortunately, he is like that train wreck or accident that people just have to slow down and take a hard look at.

I'm guessing you are uninformed on Cali's back story.

not much to say cali,it was just a football play---he tried to make something happen and it was just a typical bad result---he gave the effort
