They won the national championship in 2005, Kirk! They lost the BCS title game in 2009. You've been with Gameday since 1996!

But that's still not fair to do since they actually won a title with VY and made it to another title game with Colt McCoy.

It would cost around 30 million dollars to fire Herman and hire Urban.

Texas spending that much in a pandemic seems unlikely.

Texas HS recruiting if you look at the top 20 in that state Texas is losing there.
Herman is a solid coach but his staff need to recruit better.
A&M and the SEC, OU are cleaning up the top HS prospects in Texas.
