...If you haven't already done so in the last few weeks, talk to your kids about the dangers of talking to strangers, and not allowing any sort of touching or verbal abuse without telling someone. For the safety of young Orange fans and all kids out there. Allegations, true or false, will haunt Fine for the rest of his life. Don't neglect this opportunity to talk to your kids about avoiding these situations and also have them feel comfortable to talk to you about it. Hope what's going on isn't true, but all of us have more important things in our lives than Syracuse Basketball. Protect your kids and others' when in a position of responsibility.

It isn't just strangers. Most are abused by someone they know: family member, neighbor, family friend, etc. Still, very important for everyone to be open with their children.

I did last week after Sandusky. I will never forget the look on my 10 year old son's face when he said, "Dad, why would anyone want to do something like that to me."
