The fact is that Notre Dame will play the required 5 games a year against the ACC...and hopefully this results in all ACC teams playing Notre Dame every three years...but don't forget games already scheduled between Notre Dame and ACC  teams...
It is possible for Notre Dame to play more than 5 ACC teams a year if it chooses to do so...BUT it must play 5 games.
 
Additionally, I do not view our games  in NY/NJ being a negative.  I understand for the SU fan in central NY this is not where they want 'Cuse to play; however, for the alumns outside of Central NY, NYC is a great place to visit for a game.  Also, is or is not 'Cuse NYS team...if so...games outside the Dome are nessary...remember we like playing games at Madison Square Garden too.
 
Notre Dame will get to Syracuse eventually, but not for the already scheduled game in the Meadowlands.
