The Pitt game waw moved for a huge payday and had to offset a home game against a team that is a common conference opponent. Notre Dame brings a huge uptick in ticket sales at home and I know a not insignificant number of fans who are planning on buying season tickets next year specifically to ensure decent seats for that game. Would be hard to make a business case to move it. I have heard back from a secondary source that this would only make sense at all if attached to a major ACC schedule reshuffle.
