You are correct the campus is nice but they have kept the same color scheme to the buildings.  The bulk of the campus is nothing special beyond their couple of iconic landmarks (golden dome, grotto and Touchdown Jesus) but I don't get enamored with the look of a campus.  Notre Dame has its own mystique and prestige based on its reputation and that is its main draw.   That was well put, they do have a great propaganda machine.

To be hoenest after the first couple minuts with 2 pick sixes and the blocked punt TD I was kind of numb to the whole experience, add 2 long TD runs in their first 5 plays and it was even worse.  I was under no delusion that we would be competitive but didn't expect their defense to out score their offense in the first quarter.   A couple of their fans said we shouldn't have put all our eggs in one basket (with Angeli, when I told them we first got a 4 star QB from LSU who we found out in the Spring was not it, then picked up Angeli, they hadn't realized that).   Just sad that we really haven't been competitive since Clemson.
