Notre Dame sellout streak expected to end at 273 games

This is just a way to get people to buy tickets right?

They’d just buy on stubhub for less.

Season tickets are over a grand for worst seats in the stadium.

They’ve probably cheated with a couple hundred tickets considering them sold at the last minute.

Nebbys is legit which is very impressive.

Nebraska's streak isn't long for this world either. Short of Scott Frost creating a second tOSU demographics are on the cusp of taking down that streak.

The golden domers can't stomach the sight of a loss to Navy.
A. The tix to the UVa-ND game were $100 each through UVa's allotment. To someone who watched Lindsay Nelson every Sunday morning, it was a "must-go".

B. Nearly all of their fans on their hard-core board want Navy off the schedule. They believe that too many players on their DL get hurt from the cut blocks and the debt that ND feels they owe the Navy for allowing it to stay open during WW II has been repaid several times over. Next year, they will open with Navy in Dublin.

Seemed like for a long time they had at least 6 annual opponents (Navy, USC, Stanford, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue).

If they were to drop Navy, they'd be down to just USC and Stanford. Michigan is on again/off again.

Might as well join the league full time. They played New Mexico and Bowling Green this year, which sounds like something conference teams do.

It seems like they haven't played Purdue in quite a while when that used to be an automatic. I wonder why that series got interrupted?

ND plays USC, Stanford, Navy every year no matter what.
Navy kept the Notre Dame campus afloat during WWII and the ND administration will never drop Navy as a result.
Those fans aren’t Notre Dame cult fans if they want to drop Navy.
If they drop Navy they might as well join a football conference.

With 5 ACC games, 2 Pac-12 schools and Navy they rotate the other 4 games.
Typically they play 2 of 3 Big Ten teams from Purdue/Michigan/Michigan State.
They won’t drop Navy.

Totally, totally disagree with this. NDNation's Rock's House board has the hardest of their hard core fans and nearly everyone there wants Navy gone. They know exactly why Navy is on the schedule and they said that debt was repaid long ago.
