Just proves to all these Debbie downers that these upper level fcs teams can be REAL competition . North Dakota state , nova and mcneese are all quality programs

Buttgers by 13 over Howard - who's terrible. Go look at the stats in this one

After yesterdays results i have come up with two conclusions

1. The win over Nova wasn't as bad a result as I thought especially after losing what is probably our most important offensive player

2. I'll take any victory at Cent Mich next week. They are decent.

What people forget is that Division 1AA was created for the lower level of Division 1 teams who wanted to still be in Division 1 but have a national champion ship to play for that they could actually win. They are not "small colleges". There's little difference between the top FCS teams and a good MAC team, as we're about to see.

Calling them "FCS" rather than "FBS" tends to obscure this.
