That would be a totally watchable league...in a kinda interesting cuz it is different way. The Catholics might consider adding Creighton and Butler and call it a day. Try to be considered the best non Big 5 conference.Do the basketball schools break off and raid the Atlantic 10 of some Catholic schools?
Georgetown
Villanova
St. John's
DePaul
Marquette
Seton Hall
Providence
St. Joseph's
Xavier
Saint Louis
I read they were going to join the Big 10.I read that they would be looking at leaving if the new contract isn't sufficient. Is there more to this story now?
No. They don't need to break off. They wait for all the football schools to join other conferences and then pick up some of those you noted. That would be a totally watchable league...in a kinda interesting cuz it is different way. The Catholics might consider adding Creighton and Butler and call it a day. Try to be considered the best non Big 5 conference.

That makes a lot more sense than the cluster**** that the Big East has become. It would be a fine basketball league with significant presence in March. That would be a totally watchable league...in a kinda interesting cuz it is different way. The Catholics might consider adding Creighton and Butler and call it a day. Try to be considered the best non Big 5 conference.
As we have all said, the Big East is finished. Syracuse and Pitt were the death blow. WVU was a final nail in the coffin. ND is dirt on the grave.
