The Chargers will not hire a head coach until they hire a GM first. San Diego will probably be the last team to fill the HC vacancy. That means the Marrone speculation to San Diego could linger for a while. The ownership for the Chargers have their head way up their a**. I don't want to say they are crazy, but they are certainly unpredictable. Norv Turner was never a popular choice in SD so it is obvious that the fanbase will have zero impact on the decision. Wisenhunt, Chip Kelly and Mora Jr. are the popular choices based on talk radio. I am expecting an offensive minded HC, so Marrone has a legit chance at this job but that could all change with the new GM.
