[*]A positive 'retirement'? or a 'tenure end'? (they keep changing the term). Clearly, a 47 year career, 2nd wins all time, HOFer, NC, etc, deserves a positive end
[*]Decision date? Came days before the announcement and before the season was over. Probably not a great thing for team morale and coaching chemistry, but maybe necessary given the need to lock in a replacement. But, it could have waited til season's end.

Wildhack clearly reacted to JB, and I feel like it would not have made a difference if he waited until Friday or whatever to give the impression it was carefully considered.  
[*]Replacement choice? I honestly do not know the differences between Red and Gmac. Red is a little older and has more diverse coaching and playing experience. Was anyone outside in the cards? Was that even explored? I like Red, and like GMac too. We will see. Hoping for the best.

Again, I think these ADs are stuffed shirts for the most part. Maybe he is great though, I don't know. I am not in and around the community like I used to be.
