Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day October 2018 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:

Comments: I remember the month as being even colder than it was because I was cruising the St. Lawrence when we had those 80 degree temperatures. Overall we lost 108 degrees and 20 of the 31 days. November is only halfway done but let’s just say it has not been an improvement.
