So...I like good beer.

DTLA has a "beer society" one monday a month where a rep from a brewery pours tastings of their lineup for a mere $5, then will pour you out the rest for $1 each.

What was weird was, the day after I learned we play Minnesota, I did this cheap imbibing of quality Speakeasy Ales. Speakeasy has a beer called Agent Orange.

The tasting was at a bar named The Golden Gopher

Just an odd conglomeration of coinkydinkies I wanted to mention to my Orange and Beer loving brethren.

That's a nice ABV for an APA.

DNABB, do you ever write reviews on the advocate?

Whenever I'm pacing in the beer section wondering what to get, I get on there and see which of my potential choices are rated best

I spend all my rare free time writing various drivel on some stupid message board, but I actually am thinking about doing that.

I've thought about it in the past as well but haven't to date. Issue being when I get interesting, unique brews I usually have more than one variety. The only one I could do a fair review of would be the first, before a double IPA or something crushes my palate, but after #4, 5, 6, etc I'm in no position to do so.

Same, or get p*ssed if I don't have data connection to do so. Luckily after a bit you learn go to breweries. There's a few you can't go wrong with.

You're no doubt counting on some own goals for the win because your attack has no intention of scoring.

A giant liquor store a few towns up with a ridiculous beer selection puts the BA ratings right under the beers. Really expedites the process, considering I'm usually the worst at trying to decide on a new beer to try.

since when do you discriminate against beers...bottoms up and if it's free, all the better

We haven't been impressive for sure, no better time to turn it around than this weekend!

Nah I'm sure we'll be fine in this brutal strech without Gerrard, Sturridge, and Enrique... nothing more to see here.

I do like the obvious correlation between those who appreciate good beer and those who appreciate actual football.
