The rotations the past two seasons have been unique in starting a frosh (Fab last year; Rak this year) who gets pulled every game, after a cameo start.  Can't recall JB doing that in other years; haven't seen it with other coaches in the Big East.
 
I suspect other coaches have used a spark-plug guard or shooter off the bench (someone arguably better than one of the starters) -- maybe in cases like 2009-10 or last year when the 6th man (Scoop or Dion) was not plainly better than a starter.
 
But a second team All-big east guard (Dion this year) not getting any starts?  Says a lot about JB.   Loyalty, staying with what works, finding a way to keep 3 veteran guards all engaged.   Definitely an approach to patent.
