i was on call to shovel Giants Stadium last winter for the SuperBowl, just doing my duty and the only way i figured i could get close enough to hide in a mop closet till kickoff.

I honestly didn't even know it was going on. I wanted to watch some hockey last night (any game would do), so I found the Sabres and Sharks on NBCS. Kept thinking man, what happened to the Sabres, there were literally about 200 people in the building. Had no clue. Then I hear this morning that a women's college hoop team was stuck on their bus for 24 hours, no water, no food. That's a lot of tickle fights to keep busy.

Kept thinking man, what happened to the Sabres, there were literally about 200 people in the building. Had no clue. Then I hear this morning that a women's college hoop team was stuck on their bus for 24 hours, no water, no food. That's a lot of tickle fights to keep busy.

i was in the car listening to the game yesterday and it was so strange to hear. it was jeanneret's voice and every click clack and scrape you never hear over the din of the crowd. it sounded like a phony recording.

they shouldve asked for volunteers in a local pub to go shovel out the womens hoop team, bet they wouldve cleared a path there for free in about 24 minutes.

Growing up in Syracuse I never once recall altering my plans due to snow. Sure, we had school snow days but I don't recall ever saying "Oh, it is snowing too much, we can't go now" to whatever event were were planning for I recall many a bad snowstorm going to Manley for a basketball game. I laugh when I go back nowadays and people who hear about snow coming get all worked up and start hoarding food, etc. and talk about not going out. My in-laws think I am irresponsible for even suggesting a drive to Syracuse when there is a chance of snow.
