In the first half there was a 3rd and 3 where it appeared as if every reciever ran a verticle route and TD had nowhere to go with the ball when there was pressure. There has to be some sort of short option there where we can at least get the first down.

Then on a 3rd and 5 with about 9 minutes to go and I think we were up 10, TD throws a deep ball to Taj with two defenders there. If the ball is thrown perfectly there, it's a great play because he had a little space, but it had to be perfect. If it's 2nd and 5 that's a great time to take that shot. On 3rd and 5, just get the first down if someone isn't wide open deep. It was hard to tell for sure, but it looked like NJ had position on his guy maybe on a slant with enough room to get the first down.

Overall though, I liked the improved running game and the way we utilized more short passes, especially in the middle of the field.
