I didn't take it for granted last year, but it was clear that nassib could read a d at the line and know where the matchup was to our advantage. There were many times last night where I saw the d lineup and immediately said "we've got em over the middle" or "mismatch up top!". Not once did what I saw actually happen on the field. Is that because Allen doesn't see it? Is that because he's not empowered to do it? Did he do it but receivers not do their job? I've got no clue but that's the difference between what we saw and a ton of first downs. Hopefully it's a diagnosable/fixable issue.
