If the Offensive game plan remains the same for the PItt game, sadly this may be over before it begins. The offense has become incredibly predictable over the past four games. Defensive coordinators around the league have figured it out. Use a 4-3 defense and key against the run. Pressure GS and don't give him time to set for the throw. Cover the 3-yard dink passes in front of LBs. Bring LBs up and plug gaps. Key on GS when he bales out and runs. We will be lucky if we get 65 passing yards again this game.
If we continually try to run 2 out of every three plays against the number one run defense in the ACC, the game is over long before half time.
We need to get much more creative with the Offensive game plan if we have any shot at getting to six wins.
Likely post game presser reaction from HCDB, "our guys just didn't execute."
Sounds obvious, yet depressing at the same time.
