East coasters have been flooding Indiana, Wisky and Michigan for so long that residents from those respective states are enraged that the aforementioned schools accept so many out of state students. The schools do so because they collect out of state tuition vs. in-state tuition and, as a result the in-state acceptance rate drops (which is unfortunate for a tax payer that wants to send a child to the state university). If UCONN is such a public powerhouse, why aren't midwesterners within the B1G footprint flocking to UCONN? I get a kick out of this board because SU, UConn and Rutgers fans like to participate in an ongoing pissing contest. The problem with all of it is that if you combined the fanbases of all three schools, the B1G would STILL take Nebraska. It's as though we are all participating in the smallest competition and...well...no one wants to lose that one. Then again, not many people outside the northeast even care... [/QUOTE]
