I was very impressed with Culpepper.  And it is important to also note that he was playing at a very highly competitive level of Florida football, not just him being a stud athlete out there against inferior competition.  He'll have to bounce back from the ACL injury, and obviously there will be a learning curve.  But I really like his capabilities.  Kid has a ton of potential, and he'll be more prepared than many incoming frosh QBs due to the level of competition he's faced, and the great athletes he plays with.  I don't think the transition to the next level will be as steep for him as it is for most QBs.  Him enrolling early will also be of benefit, even if he isn't 100% physically.  Him being able to go through spring practice will help to accelerate his learning curve as a QB.

I'm not suggesting that he is going to start in 2016, but I'd be really surprised if he isn't a three year starter.

Regardless, it is great to hear that Dungey flashed potential.  I think we've got some nice pieces in the pipeline [between Wilson, Long, Culpepper, and Dungey].  I think we're going to be all right at QB.

Just need one of them to pan out and be above average; doesn't matter which one.  May the best player win.
