you're going to make us forget all about Phil Thomas.

Not saying he should hang his head or start sobbing or something, but we must lead the NCAA in "guys who drop a sure interception and then spend the next 10 minutes cheerfully grinning on the sidelines."

No doubt. Today, for all intents and purposes, the game changed on a dime from that play on...

The grinning on the sideline was definitely the worst part of watching that play. Rob Moore's reaction was definitely more appropriate.

That really is the Phil Thomas "but for" play of the day.

To be fair, credit to Anderson for hanging onto one today; I've sure criticized him enough for both dropping picks and celebrating said dropped picks all season long.

Now Rob looked like he was closer to sobbing.

He's seen this one before.

Careful, I think one of the administrators is related to Reddish. My post on him got deleted.

You guys are nuts. He was grinning because his teammates roused his spirit to prevent him from bottoming, as they should, which also was clear in the video. What do you want him to do, sit alone on the sideline and sulk? Turn into Brandon Triche? The video was clear but you should also know that they were not simply laughing it off.

Got to make that play.

Making plays wins games.

You're absolutely correct. He was definitely down on himself and his teamates picked him up. I'm just glad he wasn't within earshot of me because I berated him for 15 minutes.

He wasn't grinning at first, he was pissed. His teammates got him to smile about something. Probably trying to get him to forget about it.

I understand that. My point was I felt more like Rob Moore looked on camera. Certainly Reddish felt much worse than me by a lot.

How do you drop that ing pass? I'm still shaking my head. How can you reach this level and have such terrible hand/eye coordination?

I'm sure he has great hand eye coordination. That's why he could play on either side of the ball. I think he just got too excited and dropped an easy one.

Jesus. It's like drops can never happen. You really have never seen a dropped int before? Was I yelling at the tv? Of course. But these things happen. They had a thing earlier in the year about the d backs forgetting the player before whether its good or bad. Could not agree with that more. I could really care less if ten minutes after the drop he does not look like his dog just died. I care more about how he responds this week in practice and against Louisville,

not only a game changer but could have been a season changer. wins at a premium to be bowl eligible. you have to catch that INT at this level.

Reddish didn't lose the game. But the last two games the defense is full of holes you can drive a truck thru and poor tackling. Unless there is a significant improvement, there is no chance of an upset vs. L'ville.
