That was some pretty lame analysis from Seth ["Miami game SU a tough time in the first game, ergo this matchup will be tough"], especially when he put the statistical profiles up next to each other. I wouldn't be surprised if we win this one easily.

But all things considered, I think Seth Davis is one of the worst studio commentators out there, and I love when he picks against us since it seems like he is invariably wrong most of the time anyway.

I really don't care much about what the pundits say but it really irks me that Davis seems to have no actual analytic capacity but still gets paid for his "analysis." "You get the feeling Syracuse is due to get clipped..." Why do you get that feeling, Seth? Because we keep winning? And are you just going to keep repeating the same meaningless phrase until it eventually comes true? Because you've sure been wrong with that reasoning a lot already.

He strikes me as a guy who, if I told him I just flipped a coin 9 times and it was heads each time, would bet me big money the next one is tails because "it's due."

Exactly. Syracuse could be on his list for the rest of the season. Arizona, on the other hand, won't be because they play a crappy conference schedule. Thems the breaks, I guess. SU - still the Rodney Dangerfield of college basketball.
