I realize a lot of people really dislike the B1G on this board and especially OSU, but if anything else I hope SU can somehow tap into that high school talent stream coming out of that state. I grew up next door to Ohio as a Hoosier about 60 miles from Cincy and pretty close to Oxford (Miami of Ohio, aka The Craddle of Coaches), and for as long as I can remember Ohio has been a hot bed for football talent.
Also, if you look across the college football coaching landscape I think you see a whole lot of successful coaches who grew up in Ohio. Urban Meyer is just one more example, and Meyer may end up being the most successful college football coach of all time. But then again, maybe Nick Saban will? I think Saban grew up in West Virginia which would be pretty close to the Ohio river valley. And then of course now we have Jim Harbaugh to follow. Jim was born in Toledo. Good stuff!
