Been pinching myself all day. Epic win, some takeaways:

1. We got a push from both lines against elite O And D lines, especially the D line. Our D line has been spectacular and we will only improve on the edges.

2. ED is a baller. He is fearless, smart, and understands this offense. He makes all the throws. The TDs to butler last week and Ish this week were big time throws right on the $$$. At 6'4,230 and improved strength, he is an awesome combo of size and speed. Love him. Btw, that instinctive, heads up stretch for that last first down was huge.

3. I admit, I have been a skeptic about the T2 at this level, but we were swarming and our dbs are 400% improved. Solid angles and tackling. I think Frederick has a shot at the league and love the length and play of our safeties.

4. The Oline deserves alot of props. Have always liked the young talent, but they are coming together and got off the ball and got after it last night and won the LOS against an elite front.

5. ED went under center at times. We had a balanced approach, DINO and Lewis nailed it.

6. The MIDDLE, we FINALLY used the middle of the field and there was real estate to be had.

7. PB and ZF . I know the cupboard is full at lb, but geeeez, these 2, esp PB are instinctive and while undersized, they are just fb players and they will be hard to replace next year.

8. Week after week Ish continues to get behind some of the best in the country. The best corners are assigned to ish and he continues to win off the line and win plenty of 50/50 balls.

9. Please, no more talk about a talent discrepancy. Yes, when specific talent for the systems gets recruited, we will maximize performance. That said, we have talent on this team and with proper scheming, we can play with anyone.

Go Cuse!

Great post... One other point about #2... Dungey made a couple of throws on seam/slant passes over the middle into tight windows that were NFL worthy. The defenders were literally draped all over the receiver yet Dungey managed to make fit the passes in. Dungey has always been great at touch passes but I've never seen the level of accuracy needed to hit those type of passes in the past. Great evolution in his game that will open up the middle of the field.

What i forgot to mention was just how fun and awesome and classy the Clemson folk are. It's a pleasure to meet them every 2 years.

You're right. Same experience.
