Ohio State trying to use Covid to get the NC game delayed a week

This is about trying to give Justin Fields a week to get rest on his injuries.

On the one hand, using the pandemic for possible shenanigans is horrible. On the other hand, Fields playing is the only chance to have a decent game worth watching.

I said all along they should have put 8 teams in. gave everyone 2 weeks off to get organized and then if teams screwed up its on them.. and they have to survive 3 more weeks to get it done too.

While this is certainly true, I can't feel bad that a team that gets whoever it wants doesn't have a QB ready to play.

They didn’t take anything away from Miami. Dolphins were lucky as hell getting that W against the Raiders a couple weeks back when Vegas self destructed with 19 seconds left. Buffalo’s annihilation of Miami on Sunday proved they don’t belong.

As a Browns lifer, it’s very unfortunate with the timing of their COVID situation. But the fact is, at any moment, any team can be hit hard as other teams had dealt with during the season. It would be interesting to see what the NFL would do if some of the more marquee teams in the league were struck this late relative to postponements, etc. No chance that the Browns get any preferential treatment as some other teams did earlier.
