Then came 2011 and Marquette for the 30th time, the 2012 and the fab melo debacle, then 2013 and the Michigan debacle and finally the 2014 debacle. Now I think our debt is paid and the devil is due. 2013 was no debacle. Michigan was tough but overall, reaching the final four with that team was great.

2013 was no debacle. Michigan was tough but overall, reaching the final four with that team was great.

Here's the thing with 2013 -- that defense got scary, scary good. If they do anything in the first half they beat Michigan (they still may have, absent some very questionable calls at the end of that game), and the way they were going I could have saw that team getting revenge for the meltdown at the BET against L'Ville. The way that defense was looking with size everywhere -- they could have won.

It was how it ended...only the devil could've interfered with our championship run that year.
